Friday's Featured Film: The Coral Reef

Just a beautiful celebration of the vibrant life on a South Seas coral reef, accompanied by solo piano from James McAllister ("Diesel engineer, married, father of four and grandfather of one") who created this nocturne and published it to YouTube.

It's particularly worth enjoying today, when news reports of recent research at Dalhousie University link human activity (overfishing and agricultural runoff, chiefly) to the decline of Caribbean coral reefs.

May this and other videos touch our hearts and stir us to action, and the nocturne not become an elegy.
