Go sardines! I'm among those interested in learning to eat lower on the seafood food chain. I've also heard that dried seafoods are nutritionally superior to canned -- worth looking into!

Glad to hear AB likes herring and sardines! We are trying to get herring industry reformed and creating consumer demand for a better herring product can be part of that solution.
